Control is superb, thanks to a comfortable housing and excellent balance whether you’re doing detail work with a pencil-like grip or grasping the tool like a tennis racquet. It’s light as a feather at just about a pound, so even working at shoulder height or above is no chore. We like the dovetail slot on the end and the array of accessories it accepts, like the Flex light, for spot-intensive illumination. Bit change is fast and easy; the collet locks with an easy-on-your-finger button, and the wrench stores on board. I absolutely love this tool... i recently used it to sand and sketch designs into wood so that i could decorate my house with it... a small handy tool with alot of power and a wise investment. martha stewert obviously never learned about this tool or it would make alot of arts, crafts and decoratives much much easier and fun :)

K. Silber, the package comes with two collets - one installed, one extra, to fit all of the included accessories. There are other tools out there that are other sizes, and for those, you'd need to purchase an additional collet, but if you're working with the included accessories, no additional purchases would be needed.

I am frustrated toc find, upon opening this rotary tool, that the collet nut does not fit the accessories, and therefore I had to go buy a new collet nut kit. Dremel, you just lost a customer.
